Which is my these threads are pointless. There are lots of other factors. The size of your frame being a big one— if your hips and shoulders and rob cage are a certain size, it doesn’t matter how much you weigh, you won’t fit in size 0 clothes.

How and where you carry weight matters too. Especially with jeans. A size 24 or 25 jean (roughly approximate to a size 0) will not fit someone who is curvy, even if they have a low weight. Jeans that size will not fit over full hips or a bigger butt, even if you weigh 115 lbs.

Also muscle versus fat matters. And actually, the more muscular, usually the sooner you need to size up. I am usually a size 0 but had a very well developed upper body for a while, and that’s the only time in my life that I bought shirts and dresses in a size 4 or a medium. Women’s clothes are rarely cut to accommodate muscles, especially shoulders/biceps and thighs/calves. Plus muscle is less pliable. With jeans, a little extra flesh can be accommodated with some stretch. Firm muscles need more space if you want to be comfortable and have a full range of motion.

So maybe you simply have a broader frame, or carry your weight in certain places, or are more muscular.[/quote]
