My Russian dad is a feminist, my Russian brother is a feminist, my Russian husband is a feminist, my Russian ex is a feminist. My American ex is a feminist too:) I guess, I was raised by men who see women as equals so I gravitate towards such men. Are there other men out there? Yes, but I actively avoided them. I interacted with men from different countries at work, and the ones who were openly misogynistic were not American or E.European, but recent immigrants from another part of the world.

The only American I ever slept with impressed me very little, so it totally depends on your sample.  No experience with Russians, but I am from another Eastern European country and I had a few great lovers from that part of the world. [/quote]
