Months ago I was telling my friend that I hated this lottery idea, because it would upset me to think that my child had taken a spot from a higher-scoring child. Well the opposite happened. No one is happy with a lottery system, and frankly MCPS wouldn't have been too put out to come up with a merit-based system. [/quote]
