Most Free Masons have this symbol on the back of their vehicle, which also happens to be on the dollar bill. Again, several of the Founding Fathers of this country were Free Masons. Hello! George Washington & Benjamin Franklin. You may want to read this as the base stones of the Washington Monument are masonic stones, laid by Free Masons, the architecture all around DC have Masonic meaning, as does the dollar bill. On any given day you can find a program on the history channel discussing the Masons and their contribution to the United States in both architecture and politics.

Here is a list of rather famous free masons - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Freemasons - take a really long look at that list and tell me all of these men are "ewww" and "creepy". Really? Burl Ives? Oscar Wilde? John Phillip Sousa? Theodore & Franklin Roosevelt? Paul Revere? Scottie Pippen? Prince Phillip (Queen Elizabeth's Husband)? Yes, they all are Icky, Icky men. And really, their wives are all too controlling to let them join! Presidents, dignitaries, celebrities, authors, politicians... The Masons are not too "Yuck" or "Icky" for these men, but too "Ewww" and "Icky" for your lowly CPA husband.

Um, so. Your father was a stone mason. What does that mean? That has absolutely NOTHING to do with being a Free Mason. My father is a doctor. Cool! We now know what our father's professions are. Are you Portuguese by any chance? I know lots of Portuguese stone masons.[/quote]
