Times have changed, 2023 and 2024 classes in DC will crush the Baltimore competition in the future. Would love to see the infamous MIAA play both the winners of the IAC and WCAC at the end of every season!
Blah blah blah 2023/24 probably never played varsity now you taking s h I t.
Time well tell, but it’s hard to argue that 2023 and 2024 are not the deepest classes we’ve seen in DC. Other years saw enough talent to field a really great club. E.g. Madlax 2018, 2019 or DCE 2021. But 2023 has enough to field the DC Dogs which are one of the best in the nation, plus NL, DCE and VLC which are all fielding strong teams. Similar with 2024. Lots of really good players. No one school is getting them all. They are spread between Landon, Prep, Zaga, SJC, Bullis and some others. Going to be some very exciting lacrosse when they get to play.
Some of the best 2023s played Varsity last spring, this summer, and fall so they have had experience. Sure 2023s huge class of lax talent is spread out over multiple schools, but the majority of players are at Prep. Prep has players from DC Dogs (majority of players), DCE, NL, and maybe others. The 2023 class at Prep has over 20 serious players.
Well you only need about 16 total, so sounds like a lot of great players will be on the bench. Sounds like fun. Oh...and 23 fogo just left for iMG. He's a stud too.
'23 FOGO is amazing, but have not heard that he has left Prep so not sure this is true. He played all Fall with DC Dogs, Prep, and various all star national teams. Prep Lax this spring is not done yet especially with the vaccine rolling out. Not to mention he will have DC Dogs practice and games starting late spring. He is such a top prospect he doesn't even really need to go anywhere else to play this spring he will do just fine in the college recruiting game next fall.
