It’s just amazing to me that he’s letting his caucus go grinch like this. It’s so clear who the problem is, do they really think people are going to blame the democrats when they can’t buy Christmas dinner much less Christmas presents this year?
Again, he personally and his party in the Senate paid hardly any price a month ago for acting this way, so there’s nothing to keep him from continuing. It’s not like he actually cares about people.
Yep. I watched the Senate the Democrats promised was about to be hit by a Blue Wave stay shockingly Red. Why would McConnell be afraid when the people voted him (literally) and his people back in - just over a month ago?
I’m the OP above. I wouldn’t call the Biden landslide a loss. He managed to get a lot of swing voters who just couldn’t quite pull the trigger to vote blue for senate/house. People that normally voted straight red, did see that at least the WH could not be held by a republican any longer. Hopefully this latest showdown in the senate is instructive to Georgia voters who need the relief bill passed ASAP.
This has been said before. I can see ONE GA seat flipping blue. Not two. Then what? McConnell is still Senate Majority Leader. Oh and every program including small business loans, evictions protections, paid and sick family leave, and unemployment expired the day after Christmas. How can you not see that something needs to be done now?
m I do see that? I’m just putting blame on the GOP where it belongs.
