To be clear, there is something of a split in the Catholic Church with “Pope Francis Catholics” breaking for Biden. We live in strange times with (more conservative) Catholics voting against a Catholic candidate.
There has always been a voting split in the Catholic church; Catholics are not a political party or a voting block.
This election changed that. Catholics like Staten Island NY love Trump. Long Island as well. They were the Trump Trains. Even in MOCO the Catholics I know all Trumpers. They believe everything he's says. I am not sure why anyone is surprised. The Catholic Church that hides abuse of children, yeah fits right in with Trumpism.
You really can't say this. A good number of Catholics in MoCo who I know are not Trumpers. I don't get how people can just say such statements about a huge group of people. It's like saying all Republicans are racist or republicans don't wear masks; or all Asian people are good at Math. Stop labeling and categorizing people and the world will be a better place.
You know who hated Catholics too? The KKK. Looks like PP is showing their true colors. Maybe a Northam voter.
