She could name shapes like oval and cube before 18 months. Could name about 10 colors by 20 months. Could rote count to 20 and count objects up to 10 by age 3. By 2.5 she used terms like half and whole. She started naming letters by 18 months and could identify all uppercase letters by 22 months. She had well over 100 words by 20 months, and her words were very clear. By 3 she produced the “r” sound quite easily and spoke like a little adult.[/quote]
