Very little differentiation in those grades. [/quote] When my son was in K, he was reading above grade level. There were several groups of readers...below, at, and above. They accommodated them all. Sounds like it is more challenging with DL. In my parochial, reading and math groups are split up. My daughter is in advanced math and reading. She is in a cohort of other advanced math and reading students. It is a cohort of 9. There is also one DL learner in that cohort. These kids have not lost any ground since the pandemic hit.[/quote]
