Trump’s supporters are certainly loud but are they all that numerous? Though if reports are to be believed they are crushing Biden on social media.
I don't see any Trump signs at all in my neighborhood this election. There were at least 4 of them in 2016 within 3 blocks of my house. My parents in the midwest have reported the same -- no Trump signs to be seen.
I don’t know how many times this has to be said: political signs are no measure of who might win. Especially in this climate. Putting out a yard sign - for either candidate - is just asking for it to be stolen or defaced. No one I know is interested in signaling their political preference.
Weird. In 2016, there were zero campaign signs in my neighborhood. Now, we have several Biden, BLM and hate has no home here signs. If my neighbors are like me, they didn't care enough in the past to place a sign, but now they feel they MUST make sure trump doesn't get four(+) more years.
Excuse me, but BLM is not hate? Are you nuts? Have you seen the looting? Have you seen the shootings? Have you heard the hate speech? They hide behind a legitimate sentiment to execute what is tantamount to a coup?
No because the idea is much more than the organization. My neighbors have a sign. They aren't members of BLM, don't go to protests and don't approve of riots or coups. Like a lot of us, they just think nobody should die like George Floyd. They don't think that's controversial and neither do I.
Again, the sentiment, the message, is legitimate. Who could not support it, but that’s not the point. BLM, the organization, is a different matter altogether. You would do well to read their manifesto and the manifesto of each of their affiliate organizations. You may not be so comfortable with your statement, “the idea is much more than the organization.”
Yeah I read it. It's awful. Nobody cares. Nobody knows who those people are. They have a long way to go before they could be the actual leaders of the movement that shares their name.
