DCC parent here and confident that my child will excel and be prepared for college in one of the DCC high schools. My kids’ class offerings are the same if not more diverse and challenging than some of the W schools and their grades and SATs are reflective of their work and abilities; irrelevant where they go to high school. Hate to say it but if you are a well educated parent and invested in your child’s education then they’re going to do well pretty much anywhere.

To add to this it's actually easier to get into top programs from this school vs schools in the western part of the county

Bottom line for success you need a good high performing cohort of peers.  Einstein has this and frankly most schools in this region have this.  By the time you get to high school tracking is in full force.[/quote]
