I don’t think it’s single parents, it’s single moms. This entire anti-nuclear family manifesto could be ended with “because dad left“. Look up the economics of sexual selection in historic moments of skewed gender ratios. In situations where females outnumber males, men compete and marriage becomes a preferable mating strategy. Consider a population in which a number of men are removed from the mating pool by incarceration and you will see a mating strategy that favors mens‘ needs (i.e. and e.g. low investment sexual relationships). In biblical times this was solved with polygamy, but interracial dating will eventually solve this.[/quote]
