[/quote] Someone made this claim that private schools get public funding, and since that funding was reduced it contributed to the rise in tuition. Can anyone provide any substantial evidence of this? I work at an expensive private university and I don't see any evidence it ever received public funding (not counting here programs such as ROTC).
