Every single GA club will accept an ECNL bid..right now Case closed Close this thread Enjoy your day
And eventually ECNL will offer most of the GA clubs spots. So what have you really proven? The clubs were all good enough all along. So, assuming that happens, you can no longer sell league and instead you have to sell your club and team. So once again, what separates your club/team from all the other ECNL options in the area?
Simply not true. I know this hurts your feelings but if you’re not in now, you ain’t getting in. They got watered down a little when the DA started no need to add more also rans since all the real clubs came back.
You didn’t read the interview with Lavars very closely. Yes, more will be added but they have to phase adding clubs in order to expand the showcase logistics to support an influx of new clubs. I hate to burst your bubble, but ECNL will add clubs strategically to end GA. And calling these clubs “also rans” shows how little you know about ECNL. 70% of the GA clubs were in ECNL before DA. ECNL backfilled their departures with also rans like BRYC, Loudoun and startup VDA. These GA clubs built ECNL, were both good enough to be in ECNL when being in ECNL was harder and they are still good enough to be in ECNL again.
This the most ill informed post today. Thanks for showing your hand. You are an ill-informed salesman. People this poster just said that the GA clubs built ECNL. If anyone is listening to this poster for advice, good luck
Loudoun, VDA and BRYC built ECNL? They were not only backfill but used to expand ECNL. I know this doesn’t fit your narrative but the nouvou riche attitude you have lays claim to the prestige of a league your club had no role in building. McLean, Bethesda and MD United are the ONLY local clubs that can claim “old money”. A poster accused a parent changing clubs to be suckling at the tete of ECNL team when in fact, many kids were just playing in CCL then BAM! Their club is accepted into ECNL and now they believe they are elite. You were in CCL and other “also rans” were added and you think the patch changed your kid. Your kid is still the same CCL player they always were, they had no role in earning a spot and the club was a run of the mill club before. And this is why our ECNL teams are bad, because they got a battlefield commission to ECNL.
Is your kid at one of the "old Money" clubs? Was your kid around playing when there was only two ECNL clubs in NOVA? I've been around since the beginning of ECNL. I can tell you exactly what it was and what it will be. However, you know it all. You're the same person who believed that the DA would crush ECNL. History is trying to teach you a lesson. However, you don't want to believe.
Yes the old sage has spoken. Tell me old sage, did the demise of the GDA make the players at those less-than-mediocre teams in the MA ECNL better? Hint: NO
