I’m sure Tulane is a fine school but their recruitment/admissions practices really turned us off. They sent DD email after email after postcard in the mail after postcard in the mail. Blew smoke up her butt that “your incredible academic achievements have qualified you for priority consideration!! Apply today and you won’t have to pay an application fee and will automatically be considered for merit scholarships and you will be able to do an alumni interview!” come to find out after 30 seconds on google that no one pays an app fee, everyone is automatically considered for merit, and everyone can do an alumni interview. It just all seemed so desperate. A ploy to get tons of people to apply so they can lower their acceptance rate and look more selective and move up on US news. Stupid. [/quote]
