Simply 2 stupid statements.  Your statements are what this long standing Democrat is beginning to vote Republican at the state and local level in Maryland.  Hogan has generally been good on the current crisis.   And blaming him for the economic effects here shows a lack of intelligence if not more.

He is nominally shutting things down. But in reality, he is paying service to the Republican “prioritize the economy over health” line. Y making the essential business exemption so broad. It was broad to begin with but he keeps broadening it day by day. Read the MD office of legal counsel’s interpretive guidelines of the business shutdown. It’s a sham. Tons of people who are not essential still have to go into work.[/quote]

Businesses seem pretty closed to me, as I drove around MoCo this afternoon.   Sorry, I do not buy your argument.  I would vote for Hogan again, and I am a registered Dem.
