I agree that MCPS didn't use cohorts for HS magnet admissions. However, they could have capped the number of kids coming from each school or tried to spread admissions across many schools so that the majority of kids accepted to RMIB, Blair or Poolesville didn't come from a handful of middle schools.[/quote]
