And I don't ever remember a single episode which mentioned religion, going to church, or even any religious holidays (unless you count A Very Brady Christmas which was made about 15 years after the series ended).  Interestingly, Mike Brady was a widower, but Carol's background was never actually revealed.  Supposedly she was divorced, but that would have been taboo for television at the time.  In any event, their situation seems very UNLIKE most of the discussion in this thread.
