No some clubs go inside during the winter and always come out of the winter playing very well. They change the focus of training to ball skill and tight space games. Others like Arlington practice outside(lose almost 1/2 the practices because of weather) and continue the same training they did in the fall(ie no skill work). Those clubs always look bad in the spring. Many club just throw the ball on the court for futsal with no practice. The kids get nothing from it.

As for the Jeff Cup. It’s not a preseason tournament. Most clubs are in form because it’s late March. They have been playing together for over 7 months. If your team sucks at that point it is what it is.[/quote]
