[/quote] To be paid for with which money? I only know of 1 recent case of MCPS buying privately-owned land for a future school, and it was a bad decision. This is the 12.7 acres they acquired in 2013 for $4.1 million, through condemnation, for Northwest ES #8. At the time, Matsunaga ES was way over capacity. But then enrollment at Matsunaga started decreasing, and they're no longer planning to build a school there any time soon.[/quote]
