Men are biologically programmed to spread their seed because they can have virtually limitless numbers of children. Women are biologically programmed to be selective about their mates because they can only have a few children. A "whore" is fundamentally a woman who others (primarily other women) view as insufficiently selective in their mating choices and thus of low social status. The male "equivalent" is a basement dwelling incel. Hope that helps clear things up.
Lots of truth here.
Except it isn't/ I mean, it's what you want to believe is true and so that's what you repeat over and over to yourself, presumably because it makes you feel better about something, but it isn't. Not entirely, and maybe not very much at all. Both men and women are hardwired for promiscuity.
What really irks Schmitt is that many people interpret this finding to mean that women are designed to be faithful but men are predestined to be promiscuous. That's not what the evidence shows. Instead, both women and men are fully equipped for one-night stands and lifelong relationships. https://www.webmd.com/sex-relationships/features/promiscuity-differs-by-gender#1

Research has shown that women’s libidos tend to nose-dive when they’re in a long-term relationship, but the same isn’t true for men. However, we might have been misinterpreting the meaning of this finding, suggest the authors, Dr. Aaron E. Carroll and Dr. Rachel C. Vreeman, both of the Indiana University School of Medicine. “While some would say that this means the women have an easier time being monogamous because their sex drive has gone down, sex experts would say that this is not the healthy state for these women,” they write. “The women are losing their desire to initiate sex or to have sex with their partners, which does not reflect sexual health.” https://www.thecut.com/2014/06/women-arent-wired-for-monogamy-and-more-myths.html

“The human mating system is extremely flexible,” Bernard Chapais of the University of Montreal wrote in a recent review in Evolutionary Anthropology. Only 17 percent of human cultures are strictly monogamous. The vast majority of human societies embrace a mix of marriage types, with some people practicing monogamy and others polygamy. (Most people in these cultures are in monogamous marriages, though.) There are even some societies where a woman may marry several men. https://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/02/science/monogamys-boost-to-human-evolution.html

Evolutionary biologists say the evidence has become overwhelming and ties in with anthropological studies. 'Since humans have evolved from other forms of life, it is likely they have many of the same mechanisms. The motivation that makes us seek other partners is evolutionary. The evidence strongly suggests that human females are promiscuous, but that the level of promiscuity depends on circumstances,' said Birkhead, who recently published a book called Promiscuity. Women are thought to get several evolutionary advantages from being promiscuous. The most obvious is 'fertility insurance'. Birkhead cites the case of a man who went for a vasectomy after his wife gave birth to her third child. However, the surgeon found the man had a congenital defect that meant he couldn't possibly be the father of any of the children. https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2000/sep/03/anthonybrowne.theobserver
It's a nice story, if you're a guy that isn't happy with his lot in life -- the idea that men are biologically programmed to "spread their seed" and are just behaving as they must when they let down those poor, restrictive women who are hardwired to want what they can't have from men, poor deluded and powerless things. They'll just have to learn to deal with inevitable unhappiness and being the ones cheated on. But that's what you tell yourself so you feel like a big, powerful man. It isn't science. Sorry, you'll have to live with that.
