how do you pronounce that first name? good God!
SOAR-sha It is a common Irish name. It's lovely.
sounds more like the name of a rare protected animal specie.
1. No, it doesn't. You are a relatively simple, unsophisticated person, huh? 2. Why would you say something horrible about a dead child's name on a thread discussing her?
Knowing the pronunciation of obscure or 'common' Irish names makes on sophisticated? At least you have a sense of humor, i'd give you that.
It isn't obscure! I am from Boston. I knew multiple girls with this name, all American. Maybe this is a New England UMC trend, but even so, there are contemporary actresses and writers with this name. But the more pressing part of my observation is, again, WHY WOULD YOU SAY SOMETHING HORRIBLE ABOUT A DEAD CHILD'S NAME ON A THREAD DISCUSSING HER? I repeat, why?
What exactly is all 'American'about that name ? Asking how you pronounce such a name isn't an horrible thing to say . Furthermore, a 22 yr old woman is NOT a child.
