There are people on this site whose children have 7-8 GBRS and very high test scores (140's) who get dinged. I have to believe this is atypical. Let's face it, thousands of children are admitted every year, and they can't all be in the 99th percentile with 12+ GBRS. Am I off base here?
I don't think you are off base at all. All kids admitted definitely are not in the 99th percentile. You have kids that get much lower test scores with High GBRS and i know several that may have had higher test scores and lower GBRS that did not get in. I strongly believe they are looking for GBRS to support test scores even when you have those kids who test high on some and lower on others. There seem to be all kinds of results, but for some reason th GBRS seems to carry more weight than anything in most cases. Good Luck to EVERYONE!
