Sorry to digress, I'll set the stage...

Wendy kept bringing up Van's soon to be ex wife, over & over again.
She started out by calling her "his wife", then corrected herself & said "ex-wife", then corrected herself again calling her "soon to be ex-wife".  It seemed intentional, like she was just being her shady self as usual (you'd think this situation would have humbled her a bit, right? Like, hello?? This is karma calling).

So she once again brings up the soon to be ex & she says "I see you're still wearing your wedding ring & he says to her "Well YOU'RE still wearing yours!". 
Van cracks up & the audience proceed to scream with hysterics.

Daggers... if her eyes could have thrown daggers they would have.

Wendy then mustered up some lame, flustered comment about her side of the couch being for asking & his side being for answering & not the other way around.

Here's my opinion... I used to really like Wendy, but as a viewer I'm actually insulted by her ridiculous hypocrisy & the double standard she sets for herself.

On one hand she wants everyone in the world to "live in their truth" & expects every celebrity to be transparent about their lives (while she takes every opportunity to rip them to shreds & uses their struggles for entertainment fodder) and on the other hand, she feels like SHE doesn't have to address this scandal with anyone (most especially her fans) and NOBODY else should be allowed to talk about it either.

If the roles were reversed & this story was about Van, Wendy would be *SALIVATING* to address this scandal on hot topics, she would read Van the third degree if he came on her show & she wouldn't hesitate to use another person's pain & embarrassment for every single solitary rating share that she could.
