You are a prime example of people who are working to meet their BASIC needs. Only when you have successfully taken care of this need will you understand the need of others for self fulfillment and self-actualization.  You are not yet on that rung of ladder.

I agree with the pp.  If you are not working and you are hiring all of your domestic duties done than you aren't really performing the responsibilities of a SAHM.  If you need to give yourself a title you are more of a "house manager". Your primary responsibility is to hire domestic help to do the work around your house for you while you spend your time pursuing leisure activities.

I quit working to be SAHM.  I doubt that I would have quit working to become a house manager.  But, to each their own.  And if that satisfies you and you can afford to do it good for you.[/quote]
