We contributed to the class fund (which not everyone dies) abdvthenbalso got little ornaments. Teachers probably didn’t know that we also face to the group gifts (which ended up being several hundred dollars worthy of gift cards, flowers, etc for the teachers). I think next year I will do individual gifts, sadly, I get the feeling that we didn’t get “credit.”- is that silly?
Same happened to us! I usually donate to fund because I worry the other parents won’t and then get a separate gift too. I figure that way I give more to the teacher without looking like I’m bribing them. I just know money is tight and I want to give them more for being so great. This year one of my kids’ classes ended up with several hundred in gift cards and spa experiences. It probably seems that we opted out since we do extra gifts but I was just glad they seemed thrilled.
