That is true, but what's it really mean? Sure we have a lot of millionaires in Bethesda, Potomac & Chevy Chase - but how many opportunities is that creating for the 95% who aren't? I think we have a fairly robust small business community, but where VA is killing us is in big corporate investment. Ultimately that is going to have a far bigger economic impact than our "millionaire community." And those corporate taxes are what allow jurisdictions to spend money without drastically increasing our income and property tax rates. And your criticism of Amazon's "half deal" ignores the fact that VA offered far less in incentives and still won the bid. But who cares, right? We got millionaires![/quote]
