If I see my toddler shivering, doctor, should I ignore it if he doesn't want his coat on?
That's interesting. When my son was a toddler/ preschooler it was very hard to stuff him into a coat inside. He overheated so quickly (I do too, wearing my coat into a store I'm feeling faint after 10 minutes and have to put it in my cart to survive). There were many times his dad and I ended up holding the winter gear and going outside, at which point he was ok with putting it on. He BEGGED to be allowed to sleep outside in a sleeping bag in the winter. This was even though I kept the thermostat at like 64. In North Dakota. He's in his 20s, and the only long sleeved shirts he owns are ones I give him for Xmas.
