This entire discussion reminds me of twilight birth that was done in the mid 1900s. Women couldn't consent to forceps, couldn't consent to anything and were handcuffed to the bed while doctors delivered their babies. It all stopped when men started being present in birthing rooms. I absolutely 100% would never want to be alone in a hospital setting. [/quote] We are all alone in the OR, except for the nurses who work under the doctors.
