(And, tbh, when you choose to live in North Arlington, part of the draw is that you don't NEED to send the kids to private school b/c the schools are already good! Most private school tuition is really just people paying for the privilege of sending their kids to school with other kids whose parents are wealthy and/or value education. N. Arlington parents don't have the same kind of wealth as kids in elite private schools in DC. So if they sent their kids to private school, they would be the poors there, honestly. But sending their kids to public school lets them be spendy on things like LV purses and big SUVs. They are among their people there, so it's all good.[/quote]
