What’s wrong with a rich white neighborhood? Why do losers expect everyone to share with them? Could it just possibly be your ancestors sucked? Yes being born from power and money is great but if you come from slaves, peasants and criminals that is the hand you were dealt. You will never have that head start and it is up to to develop it if you want your kid’s kids to have it. Or you can bitch and piss into the wind trying to erode the advantages handed to affluent kids with resources. Just for the sake of argument I'd like to counter your cocky commentary with an alternate perspective in regards to gentrification...

What's wrong with a middle class minority neighborhood?  Why do privileged pricks expect everyone to share with them?  Could it be possibly that you're not all that different from ancestors who loved raping and pillaging people of other ethnicities?  Yes being born from power and money is great but its not a friggin free-pass to to run roughshod over every other community and culture that you deem inferior or irrelevant.  You will never establish any credibility for all your insistent claims of "white-victimhood" if you keep using your privilege to piss all over decent people as if they are irrelevant just because they're not as wealthy or white as you.  But you know what...it doesn't even matter.  You may think you're the cat's meow and that your shit don't stink and that everyone is beneath you, but the people of the communities you continually ravage and ruin who are rich in pride and heritage will still find the resolve to rise above.  That's why despite coming from slaves, peasants, and criminals odds are no matter how rich and white your neighborhood may be there will always be some non-white residents just a few doors down because like Maya Angelou said...

I don't think people are claiming white-victimhood, quite the contrary.

Do they rise? or do they simply try to shame the team spiking the football after going up yet another TD, talking about "sportsmanship" when they should be talking TDs. Policies have shifted, definitions have shifted and a few have risen out when willing to play the game but I ask what exactly has changed in America since the 1870s? And if you think that there is some massive demographic shift happening that is a harbinger to a truer change, one could argue that there has more or less always been more Africans, Latinos and Natives in this country than white people (if they were counted that is another story) so I am not even sure what you expect to happen.
