Look if your a parent or a kid why would you not tryout for Capital they obviously have the most success in placing girls. All this nonsense is being drummed up by people who want to make money from your kids. The point of a travel lacrosse program is to place kids. Doing that at a 90% clip is very impressive. I work as a business manager and if you told me every vendor I hired would deliver 90% of what they said they would do. I'd give them every outside contract.

Look at the websites of the other clubs all good programs but not close to the 90% number. Best I can tell most are less than 30%. So yes Capital misses some girls but not many.

With the growth of the game I really encourage Capital to grow the number of teams they field. They obviously have the right model and the game has grown in the area to the point they need to add teams. It would make the parents alot happier and keep the $$$ makers at bay. Please Capital add more teams the area needs your expertise and my daughter wants to play for your team!![/quote]

Ninety percent last year?  Or over some longer time period?  Of course, quality of the school and lacrosse program also need to be considered.   Capitals does well with a few of the Ivies, I don’t see a lot of top 20 programs on the list, amd I do see a lot of D3.  2018 commits aren’t even listed.  I personally don’t take issue with the assertion that the Capitals are the most competitive club in the dc area, but the boosterism seems fairly overblown, especially with the quality of the Baltimore area clubs less than an hour away.

Also, with all the claims that the Panthera owner is posting here, it strikes me that someone from Capitals is more likely to be doing so.  This whole thread is pretty ridiculous, frankly.[/quote]

I agree.  I think 90% is a bit of a stretch.  Does this look at ALL the girls, or just the Blue team?  Does this count the girls who decide not to play in college?  Capital is very successful with getting their girls recruited, but 90% is not a real number.[/quote]
