I think you know the meaning.  Jews make up approximately 2% of the population; yet, make up approximately 30% (?) of the Ivy League.  What's wrong with that?  When Jesse Jackson and Luis Farrakhan push for more Jewish basketball and football players in the NBA and the NFL, we can talk.

Well that’s what we are talking about right? Maybe we should just base it on population %? This seems fair for a university. Unlike your example comparing religion vs race. So what percentage of Catholics, Muslims or Buddhist should there be? Is it fair that a religion that is to 2% of the population takes 30% of the admissions? Let’s face it, if the religion in question was not your religion you would be salty about that.[/quote]

How about the NBA and the NFL?  Should we limit certain people to a certain percentage?  I mean, tall people make up maybe 1% of the population, so the NBA should have mostly short to average height players? And we know the NFL is mostly iron-pumping meatheads.  Should we not have more Jewish torah scholars and asian surgeons in the mix?  That would be the epitome of diversity.  [/quote]
