Not sure this is easy, there's licensing etc., and finding reliable parent clients that would trust her with their kids.  
But there are many many jobs out there above minimum wage, OP needs to focus hard on getting a job.  She won't take the kids out of daycare but she will send them overseas?  Maybe she's figuring childcare is cheaper in foreign country where husband lives.  This is true in many locations.  But it doesn't sound like a husband that lives overseas is going to be likely to be fine with it.  I guess he will save 12K for the year but then all the other expenses including airfare will eat away at that savings.

OP I agree it's a mess but in your shoes I would try to just pick one scenario and give it your all.  In my opinion that scenario should be finding a job in a more urban area where you will find more people to befriend and share babysitting to give you some time off on occasion.[/quote]
