+1. There's still a non-zero chance this is a hoax. Also, I just can't get too worked up about a random person saying mean (or even racist, sexist, or homophobic) things to another adult. It's awful for sure. But it's happened to lots of us, and we are generally able to move on from it without too much trouble.

True, but I think what happened at the pool would've happened if it was a black woman telling those guys to tone it down, too.  What happened at TJ is much more relevant to the political and social climate of Trumplandia.[/quote]

We have no way of knowing whether that pool incident would have happened to a black lady. But let's say it did happen to a black lady. I'd still be more disturbed and outraged by that incident than by someone saying horribly cruel and inappropriate words.

Maybe we are really more outraged by this because the perpetrator happens to be on trend. [/quote]
