My wife had an affair that lasted well over a year. It ended shortly after I found out, and I forgave her. Now she acts like she wants to stay married. I know she is still flirting and meeting other guys. I don't trust her at all. I am just waiting to catch her in the act again. I will be merciless in the divorce.
You don't need more evidence. Courts don't really care about adultery. Just file for divorce and move on with your life.
why? she's sleeping with other guys so PP deserves to nail her hard too.
Like the PP said, the courts don't care. Her cheating is irrelevant to their divorce. There is no "nailing her" in regards to cheating. Of course he can always be a hard ass in the divorce, that's his prerogative, just know that cheating plays no role in the settlement
Actually, in Virginia it does. Especially if it is an "At Fault" divorce. Splitting assets and kids it doesn't play much of a role. but the cheater stands to lose a lot in the alimony decision. Potentially forfeiting all alimony, but definitely will not get permanent alimony if the affair is the reason for the "At Fault" judgment.
