Not your typical illegal immigrant family kid. So many resources are poured into the schools and Jose most often ends up doing menial jobs just like his dad.

It's just a waste of money to give an education to poor kids, the less educated they they cheaper the labor will be in the long run. Do you really want to have to pay more later? Maid service, lawn service, nannies could get really expensive in the future.[/quote]

José usually works better than David during the lawn service. Every time there was a problem with my lawn, José showed up on time, ready to come up with a good solution and did it himself. David, instead, responded he did not know when he could come and when he finally showed up to take a look at the lawn
with a lazy spirit, he found out someone else had done an amazing job on our lawn. David may speak good English but José did an amazing job renaming the lawn and explaining what he did.[/quote]

With maids we have never been lucky with the quality of service. Regarding nannies, I never hired them. For lawn service, as the previous PP said, José did an amazing job while David was "too busy" getting a beer at the nearby store.
