Please don't tell us what we should do, or how best to be productive. We live on the Hill, too, where we like to defend our contrarian bona fides. We can base our logic on our ideological views or any other dogma we follow. We fill out what we like, as we choose, thanks.
+100. What if we fill it out not because of "idealogical" choices but because different options have different costs? Folks in the Miner/Maury/Brent/LT, etc. catchments don't seem reluctant to weigh in on the Cluster's advocacy for renovations/moving grades, etc. that have taken place over the last several years, also without knowing the exact information being conveyed by DCPS to our community about critical issues. How is this different?
I don't think it is different, and I'd say the same to them. My point was that this survey, specifically, was intended as a follow up to those renovation discussions and not as a broader question to the community about the wisdom of a cluster model. If you've read through all the material on the School Improvement Team website and you have some salient point to make then go ahead. My concern was that it's hard enough to get DCPS to seriously consider community input - if they started getting hundreds of additional responses to this thing I have no faith they would look at the responses at all.
