I'm not sure how it's possible to have a meaningful discussion of someone's metaphysics if we're going to insist on a "safe space" that prohibits people from even discussing these kinds of beliefs.

I don't think such a "safe space" is really even called for, because it would seem an atheist has a very simple response if a fundie tells them they'r going to go to Hell:  "I'll bet you get there first."
