I also want it to go away. It has nothing to do with any of us. They know none of us can find her or help her. It’s not like this is a missing woman who wandered off and the public can be on the lookout to help. Whoever has her captive is for law enforcement and the Guthrie to figure out and handle. Nobody else’s elderly loved ones are at this kind of risk so it’s not even a public interest story. It’s weird and creepy and bizarre and we don’t need more info. [/quote]

Well, I don’t disagree with you but unfortunately, you’re probably going to have to just buckle in. That’s how these things go. I didn’t follow the Karen Reid case but a lot of the content creators and podcasts that I listened to did so I felt like that just was not going away for months and months.

I actually may at some point revisit it if there’s a good documentary that comes out or something, but I just didn’t have the bandwidth at the time and I remember thinking gosh the story will never go away. I just recommend not clicking on anything related to the story and that at least helps your algorithm.
