ECNL and USYS have aligned on an 8/1 cutoff

Leagues already allow GY for HS Seniors. There have been no additional discussions about allowing GY for any other age groups.

Why would anyone care about showcases being GY? The purpose is for recruiting and not results. It’s not going to impact team formation at all so if it happens, doesn’t happen, it doesn’t matter.[/quote]

What? GY are all players from the same class competing for the same spots in college and all are on the same recruiting schedule.

To be clear, I don’t think any league is going GY but it would not be surprising for showcases to be GY. [/quote]
