Oh, wait—pick me, pick me! I’d love to leave my school to join an organization that’s the laughing stock of MLS. Attending classes in a concession stand at a stadium sounds like a dream come true. And hey, maybe when I graduate, no college will accept my transcripts, and I’ll lose my scholarship because the school you forced—or “encouraged”—me to attend doesn’t meet basic academic standards. But knowing the scouting director’s wife is running the school really reassures me that I will be in good hands. Not only will my education suffer, but my soccer development will take a nosedive too. Sign me up!
Except for all the DCU kids going to D1 and Ivy League colleges, your statement would be correct 😂
DCUs role in any kid going to the ivy league or D1 is absolutely minimal to nothing. This in house schooling is totally unproven with DCU. Those kids were going to different high schools and probably would have gotten to the schools they did completely without DCU. I agree with the PP. Leave a top public or private high school in the DMV to go to DCUs online school???!! So you can train more at DCU who has no idea what they are doing??? To each his own, but there is just no way. You're relying on DCU to educate your kids and teach them football which they have proven they can't do. In either discipline. I couldn't in my right mind sign my kid up for that. I hope for the kids that are there DCU really does something for them but no one is holding their breath on that. And yes, the classroom is in the concession area at VA revolution. Ridiculous.
Yes, the Ivy League coaches didn't take into consideration at all the soccer aspect when recruiting 5 kids to Ivy League Soccer programs last year. They just went off academics then at the first day of training they asked them which clubs they came from lol
