Yah, the whole Tyler Jen narrative feels so very contrived. Also, please do not post on social media how you cannot parent right now because you’re “dating” and casually abdicate all parenting responsibility to your children, and then ask us all to attend your “ME course” on parenting. Is she for real.
Yes! Did you listen to Glennon’s podcast episode with she and Tyler? He’s an eternal bachelor and brought up that she’s had some freak out moments with him already. I picture her being overbearing, insecure, jealous and controlling. He said she drove the entire relationship by basically giving him an ultimatum like, you have to be all in or nothing, and it took him 24 hours to decide if he wanted to commit to her! “Can I think about it and call you back?”
It was so strange and cringy! I'm the most practical, least precious person when it comes to these things but this was horrifying on so many levels. He seems genuinely nice but it's hard to buy the "Jennifer King Hatmaker is the greatest woman alive" shtick when he had to take at least a day to commit to their relationship. Also, it was really thrown by how often they assured everyone that Tyler isn't gay. Like, doth protest too much?!
