Before they approached her car, they were yelling at her to move it and she wouldn’t move.  That’s why they approached it to pull her out.  It’s terrible she was shot.  Plenty of bad decisions made all around. [/quote]

It was a smart message to send, proof of concept for the midterms.

Democrats “overperforming” in specials and off-year elections doesn’t matter. The Republicans are keeping their powder dry. The federal investigations of Democrats fundraising hasn’t stated yet. The harassment of Democrat campaign workers hasn’t begun. The intimidation of Democrat voters is wildly premature for an election nine months away.

The shooting yesterday will intimidate protesters to back off and let ICE pick up whoever they wish. Do you really want to get shot to stop your neighbor’s gardener from being picked up?
