Ridiculous, the entire "trapped player" concept only applies if you're looking through BY or SY from a grade in school lense.

The solution is not perfect. They said as much. Giving options is why US soccer is letting each sub-group decide what's best for them. At this point additional changes may advantage some individuals BUT disadvantage others. Telling ALL August kids they have to play with their grade is wrong. They should play with the grade that makes the most sense but ALSO based on ability.[/quote]
What are you talking about?

Play on an ECRL team you shouldn't get to play a grade down just because you're not any good.[/quote]
