No, Iran made it very clear they wanted the USA military to end the blockade of their ports. When they didn’t, the tentative deal fell apart. Plus it’s annoying to the entire world when Trump openly lies about things out loud. So they had to smack him back into place. 
Now they aren’t even willing to hold talks. 
It’s kind of cool to see Iran acting like the adult to trump’s ridiculousness. I’ve been waiting for someone to finally stand up to him.

Trump is so erratic they can't trust anything he says.  How can they possibly have a solid deal with a guy who lies or is so demented he can't remember what he's doing?[/quote]
