What about putting bike lanes on a dedicated part of the wide sidewalk, like in Europe? Thus no traffic lane impact on Connecticut and a lessened parking impact.  Some space for outside cafe tables might be affected at the margins.  Wouldn’t that be a way to address most needs?[/quote]
