He's simply going for the money grab. There will be quite a few lawsuits related to this.

I thought we were supposed to feel sorry to Alec having been traumatized by killing people. I think we can also have sympathy for someone who was standing right next to Halyna, on the business end of Alec's gun. Similarly, the same folks have argued that Alec acted completely within his duties and responsibilities, and insurance will pay out.  So no problems for Alec, if this is all correct. [/quote]
