Alec has been served. Rust Gaffer says "the scene (being rehearsed) did not call for Defendant Baldwin to shoot the Colt Revolver”. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.tmz.com/2021/11/10/rust-gaffer-sues-armorer-assistant-director-deadly-shooting-alec-baldwin/
He's simply going for the money grab. There will be quite a few lawsuits related to this. Most interesting was his comments on safety, and I thought the armorer should be able to spot a live round versus a dummy.
I wouldn’t automatically assume any lawsuit in this situation is a money grab. Two people were shot and one killed by someone. It’s kind of a big deal.
He's suing for emotional distress. Yes, it sounds like a money grab. By his ambulance chasing lawyer, if not by him.
Exactly. He had little to do with anything except seeing it happen. A total money grab especially in that industry where work can be spotty for his kind of job.
The woman died in his arms. That would cause most people some distress
Oh give me a break… and he’s also coincidentally suing the deepest pockets.
I thought we were supposed to feel sorry to Alec having been traumatized by killing people. I think we can also have sympathy for someone who was standing right next to Halyna, on the business end of Alec's gun. Similarly, the same folks have argued that Alec acted completely within his duties and responsibilities, and insurance will pay out. So no problems for Alec, if this is all correct.
