PP. Not bitter. Just furious. Our economy was the envy of the world and despite a delay in becoming a green energy powerhouse, the foundation had been laid for us to eat China’s lunch.  We were the indispensable nation which gave us incredible power and a standard of living that most other nations can only dream of.

But we elected an aggrieved demented old man with enough charisma to make a bunch of Americans believe that their misfortunes were the fault of “immigrants”.
