But the disconnect seems to be that Israel is not just "attacking a terrorist group and killing their members" they are killing many regular Lebanese citizens who are causing no immediate (or even past) threat. That is murder. I give you that Hezbollah's charter is terrible but I don't understand why it is so hard to see that Israel's actions are also terrible. It's like if the PLO attacked to kill a settler in the West Bank who attacked a Palestinian, but blew up the entire apartment complex where that settler lived.  Would that be ok? [/quote]
